Logan… it must be Baby Season!
This was another recent baby portrait session shot in the studio. Kaycee and Ron are among the first weddings I shot under the name Martin Digital and I'm so glad so see them doing so well with their newest bundle of joy! Logan was such a trooper and every time the studio strobes fired off, the look of surprise on his face was priceless! Shoot for the Newark Advocate
Check out the gallery of photos the Newark Advocated posted from the Sheridan and Lakewood football game I shot on Friday night. To see all of them you can CLICK HERE. I had the pleasure of shooting this season opener for the Newark Advocate and even landed a printed shot in the paper. Hopefully they keep sending jobs my way, photojournalism is truly a pleasure to shoot. I must say though the turn around time for photos is astounding, I shot Friday night, had to have them turned in before 10:30 p.m., and it was in the paper the next morning!

Banded Together
Martin Digital is proud to announce that we have teamed up with the group who has developed Banded Together. This concert is scheduled to be on the Saturday August, 21st all day on the square in Downtown Newark. Bands start playing at noon and run all night! This event is was developed by the guys from Enemy by Mourning, a local band with global thoughts. By teaming up with The Central Ohio Audubon (a non-profit organization) all the proceeds of this event are going to help the clean up cause from the oil spill down south. Martin Digital is the exclusive photography company at this event and we hope to help in every way we can to raise money for the cause. Life in Layers has also teamed up with Banded Together, and collectively we plan to shoot a documentary that covers the whole days events. So come out and support the cause, and take your chance at 15 minutes of fame!
Meet Alli D
Alli D just did a promo shoot with us in the studio over the weekend. This up and coming model was recently featured in an ad published in Digital Photo Pro Magazine and I had the chance to get her in the studio! This woman had poses for days, great frame after great frame and I had to stop the shoot cause I'd be editing forever if we would have continued any longer. The Davis Family
This is a recent portrait session with the Davis Family, and I must say, 2 happy baby shoots in a row doesn't happen. We really are at the whim of the baby when scheduling these shots, and Mom and Dad did an excellent job at encouraging the good mood! We shot this over the weekend in the studio. The Mills Family
This was a recent family session we shot in the studio. It was really unique because one of the shots was a four generation shot (Great-Grandma, Grandma, Mom, and Daughter).
